Tande is the duty chair of Network Of Aids and Health Service Organizations of South Sudan,  a dedicated civil society worker and women’s rights activist in South Sudan.

He has six years of experience in advocacy, focusing on the rights of women and sexual minorities. He also works as a programs officer at the Rise Initiative for Women’s Rights Advocacy(RIWA), where he trains others in community- focused capacity-building programs.

He holds a degree in Public Relations and Media Management and is certified in peace and conflict resolution.

His commitment extends to his role as a NASOSS Board of Director, where she helps guide the organization’s work.

Peter Garang Ngor

Executive Director

Peter Garang Ngor Ayok is the Secretary of NASOSS BoDs and the Executive Director of the Network of AIDS and Health Service Organizations of South Sudan (NASOSS).

A distinguished Public Health Specialist and Clinician with over 8 years of experience, he is a leading advocate for health policy, domestic health financing, and equitable healthcare access.

At NASOSS, Mr. Garang spearheads initiatives to strengthen community systems and build strategic partnerships with key institutions. His leadership is marked by a deep commitment to ensuring that health services are accessible to all.

A proud alumnus of both the Mandela Washington Fellowship and the University of Washington’s International Program in Public Health Leadership, Mr. Garang brings a people-centered approach to his work. This extensive training in leadership and civic engagement guides his mission to make a tangible impact on the lives of others.

Beyond his professional career, Mr. Garang is a passionate educationist and public speaking coach. He founded the Ngor Ayok Ayok Memorial Group of Schools in 2019, which provides vital educational services to over 600 underserved students, reflecting his profound dedication to community empowerment

SUSAN ACHEN OTWAL

NASOSS BOARD MEMBER

Susan Achen is a dedicated key populations (KP) representative, paralegal, and activist in South Sudan, with 13 years of experience in KP activism, prevention, care, and treatment. She is a tireless advocate for the legal rights of women and KPs in the country.

Working with the WISH program, Susan is an integral member of the TWG Team at the Ministry of Health, contributing to national HIV prevention strategies. Her commitment extends to

her role as a NASOSS Board member, where she helps guide the organization’s work.

Susan is also a champion of South-to-South learning, sharing her expertise and insights with peers in the region to build stronger, more effective KP advocacy movements. Her passion for improving the lives and rights of marginalized communities makes her a powerful force for change

Mamiye Jeska John

Advocacy and Communication Officer

Ms. Mamiye is a passionate Public Health Officer and Enrolled Medical Nurse, currently serving as the Advocacy and Communication Officer at the Network of AIDS and Health Service Organizations of South Sudan (NASOSS). With her academic background, holding a paper in Public Health alongside her nursing qualifications, she is dedicated to advancing health and well-being through advocacy, communication, and evidence-based practices.

Her mission is to promote healthy living conditions and comprehensive patient care at community, national, and global levels by championing infection prevention, effective treatment, and health management practices, while working to end stigma and discrimination.

Driven by a deep passion for health rights and service delivery, Ms. Mamiye works to empower communities, amplify marginalized voices, and promote equitable access to quality healthcare for all. Her unwavering commitment to continuous learning, professional growth, and humanitarian service defines her career and fuels her impact in the health sector.

Julius Daya Michael

Logistic & Acting Finance Admin Officer

Julius Daya Michael is a seasoned Finance and Administration Officer with over five years of experience in accounting and financial management.

He is skilled in preparing accurate financial reports, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with donor requirements. As the current Logistic & Acting Finance Admin Officer at the Network of Aids Service Organizations in South Sudan (NASOSS), he is responsible for overseeing grant expenditures, processing payroll, and managing daily transactions.

He is proficient in Tally and QuickBooks software and excels at working both independently and as part of a team
