NASOSS Joins High-Level Commitment to End Malaria in South Sudan

Last week, at the South Sudan Health Summit, the Network of AIDS & Health Service Organizations of South Sudan (NASOSS) proudly joined the Ministry of Health, led by Hon. Sarah Cleto Rial, alongside representatives from WHO and UNICEF, in a historic event witnessed by H.E. Josephine Joseph Lagu, Vice President and Chair of the Service Cluster, and other distinguished dignitaries.

During the summit, an Aide Memoire was signed, signaling a joint commitment to support the High Burden High Impact (HBHI) Initiative, a strategic effort to end malaria in South Sudan.

On behalf of NASOSS, Malaria Youth Champions, and civil society organizations across the country, Peter Garang Ngor was honored to represent the CSOs as an accountability partner to the Ministry of Health. This recognition underscores the critical role civil society(CSOs) plays in improving the quality of health service delivery and advancing the fight against malaria.
